Have you ever considered a career with Humberside Police or volunteering with them?
They have lots of wonderful opportunities available ranging from volunteering to full time paid positions.
Diversity and positive action
Humberside Police are keen that their officers better represent our growing diverse communities. This is particularly important as it aids them to better understand and connect with the community they serve.
The Police welcome applicants from all communities especially those from under-represented groups
Here’s a taster of what’s on offer:
Volunteering
Find out more about what our volunteers do by clicking on this link: https://www.humberside.police.uk/become-community-safety-volunteer
Covid 19 restrictions mean applications are currently not being taken but they are hopeful they will re-open their volunteering scheme soon. Look out for updates here: https://www.humberside.police.uk/become-community-safety-volunteer
Once applications do open, if there is a role you would like to volunteer for, there will be an application form to complete. The police would love to hear from you.
Special Constables
Special Constables work on a voluntary basis but undertake the same training and have the same powers as paid police officers.
The next recruitment will open on Monday 19th April and will remain open for 3 weeks. www.wearehumbersidespecials.co.uk has all the information needed. You can return to the website on the 19th April and download an application form.
